At the end of 2016, I was unemployed. Let go from a major magazine, I was unsure of the next "best" step, how I was going to pay my bills, and (briefly) debated moving out of my dream city and back in with my parents. Fast forward just over three years, and I've built a career as a self-reliant entrepreneur by following my passions, asking a lot of questions, and trusting my gut.
